This was not the original choice for my word this year. My original choice was flourish, but there was something about it that just didn’t seem to sit right.
I kept asking myself, what does it mean to flourish?
And at some stage, I’m not quite sure when I came to the realisation…
In order to flourish I need to make things happen.
In order to make things happen I need to make a start.
In order to make a start I need to make changes.
At this point it became rather obvious I needed to change my word. It was also a no brainer what my new word should be.
To help bring my word to fruition I have once again signed up for Ali’s one little word class. Even though in past years I haven’t always completed all aspects of the class I have found this class to be truly inspirational and full of many aha moments. I have also loved getting a new prompt and lesson every month throughout the year and checking in regularly to see how everyone else was going.
It’s already day eight of a brand new year.
So here’s to…
making a start,
And making things happen.
I think it’s time to go and make waves!
